Types of glass:
flat
Float glass
Simple glass (the most widely used glass) usually colored glass float glass with a shading rate 15 or 30 percent colors are usually green, brown, blue, gray, etc..

low-e
Low-emission (K) glass
Glass with a special coating that provides good thermal insulation. Sunlight (short-wave radiation) penetrate well through it and heat (long-wave) is reflected back into the room.

multi
Multifunctional (4 seasons) glass
Glass coated with a special ultra-thin double coated silver alloys, reduces heat loss more effectively than traditional low emission glass. Their function is increasingly seasonal as a special layer only pass light without heat in both directions. winter reduces the heat loss generated in the room and in summer reduces the heat of the sun penetrating into your home.

Toughened glass (tempered)
Toughened glass (tempered)
Glass with high resistance (usually a strength six times higher than that of ordinary glass) to shocks and sudden change of temperature fracture crushing it into small pieces.

multi
Triplex (laminated glass)
Represents itself several layers of glass, joined together by high strength film. Interlayer hold two layers of glass, connected even after breaking them, and its high strength prevents the glass partial crushings large sharp pieces.

reflective
Reflect (stopsol) glass
Glass with mirror layer that stops the sunlight and heat in a large percentage principally used for facades.

Embossed (ornamental) glass
Glass on one side of which is processed to obtain relief image. There is a chemical processing route in which are formed on the glass mat elements, especially suitable for interior decoration and furniture.

about glazzing units:
Insulated glass unit is construction of two or more windows, between which there is an air gap that occurred with different size spacers and hermetically closed. Good insulated glass unit must have two barriers. One barrier is butylene affixed on both sides of the spacer and the second is silicone, polysulfides or tiokol filling the space between the panes and the spacer. In operable windows can not penetrate water outside and inside the closed moisture with air in making it is absorbed by the absorbent, which is filled spacer. Thus, between the panes can be formed condensate. Note that occupies almost the entire glass area of the window. A very small proportion of the total area falls on the frame. This in turn suggests that the saving of profile system is a better compromise than the economies of glass. Choose the best, which offers a contemporary production of glass in order to have your investment really expected effect.
Standards of comfort:
  • For a restful sleep the noise level should not exceed 25-30 dB
  • For normal day occupation of a dwelling - 30 -35 dB
  • The Workplace - 35-50 dB

Type of glazing Sound insulation (Rw, p) Where can be used Coefficient of thermal conductivity Energy required to heat the house passing of daylight
